Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and organised Late Shift Wines & Spirits Supervisor to oversee the Wines & Spirits operation during the night shift, ensuring orders are picked accurately, safely and on time. This is a hands-on supervisory role, leading the team, maintaining quality standards and supporting the wider warehouse operation when required.
16.00 - 02.00 Monday to Thursday
08.00 - 12.00 2 x Saturday mornings per month
Duties
Operations
- Supervise the Wines & Spirits night shift operation.
- Ensure orders are picked accurately and completed on time.
- Allocate workloads and manage priorities.
- Support the wider warehouse operation when required.
- Escalate stock shortages and operational issues promptly.
Quality & Accuracy
- Ensure all picking and checking procedures are followed.
- Carry out final checks before orders are dispatched.
- Monitor and reduce picking errors.
- Maintain high standards of stock accuracy.
Team Leadership
- Lead, support and motivate the Wines & Spirits team.
- Promote a positive and professional working environment.
- Train and coach team members where required.
- Escalate performance, conduct or attendance concerns.
Health & Safety
- Ensure safe working practices are followed at all times.
- Ensure equipment checks and safety procedures are completed.
- Report and escalate any safety concerns immediately.
Communication
- Provide clear handovers between night and day teams.
- Resolve or communicate outstanding stock issues before the morning shift starts.
Pay: £30,852.00 per year

Experience:
- Supervising: 1 year (required)
- Warehouse management system: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Counterbance and Reach FLT licence (preferred)
