LEY HILL SCHOOL CLEANING SUPERVISOR WORKING - J Clean Ltd is a growing commercial cleaning company looking for a reliable and motivated Working Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at Ley Hill School.
This is a hands-on role combining cleaning duties with supervisory responsibilities. The successful candidate will support our operational team by maintaining high cleaning standards, carrying out quality audits, training staff and ensuring site are running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out commercial cleaning duties to a high standard
- Supervise and support cleaning operatives across multiple sites
- Conduct regular quality inspections and audits
- Train, mentor and induct new staff members
- Manage stock levels and cleaning supplies
- Liaise with clients and respond to site requirements
- Assist with staff cover and operational support when required
- Report site issues and maintain company standards
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks.
- Communicate with clients to understand their specific needs and expectations.
- Train new staff and provide ongoing support.
- Maintain health and safety standards on site.
- Manage supplies and equipment inventory.
- Report on operational performance and areas for improvement.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning.
- Ability to inspect work quality meticulously.
- Preferably previous supervisory or managerial experience in a cleaning environment.
- Reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
