Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations while ensuring a high standard of service. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, and the ability to communicate effectively with passengers.
Duties
- Safely operate a bus on designated routes, adhering to traffic regulations and schedules. No Cash to handle or be responsible for.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the bus, performing basic maintenance as needed.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing excellent customer service throughout their journey.
- Communicate effectively with passengers regarding route information, delays, or any changes in service.
- Report any mechanical issues or incidents promptly to management for resolution.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge to identify and address basic maintenance needs of the bus.
- Proven experience in commercial driving, with a valid driver's licence appropriate for operating a bus.
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is advantageous but not essential.
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written, to ensure clear communication with passengers and team members.
