We are looking for a gardener/horticulturist to join our friendly small team to assist on regular garden and grounds maintenance work. Our regular maintenance work requires maintaining a variety of plants, flowers, and shrubs to ensure healthy growth. So a solid knowledge of plants and shrubs is needed, as well as knowledge of disease and pests. Keeping notes of the gardens will be needed, to ensure that the individual gardens get the best care possible each visit.
The majority of our work includes seasonal pruning/trimming of hedges and shrubs throughout the year. This can be physically demanding, so a good level of fitness is essential.
The experienced gardener should be able to work as part of a team on larger projects, whilst also being able to work on their own on various different maintenance tasks. Utilising power tools for planting, pruning, and landscape maintenance.

Company uniform, PPE and tools will be provided. With a company van for travel to and from gardens and estates.
This role is for a full time position.
