We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher to join our small, independent Special Educational Needs (SEN) school based in the Denton area.

About the Role
As a Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of pupils aged 11–18 years with a range of special educational needs. You will work closely with Teaching Assistants, the Senior Leadership Team, external professionals, and families to provide outstanding educational experiences and outcomes.
The successful candidate will be able to inspire, motivate, and engage young people who may have previously experienced challenges within education and will be committed to helping them achieve positive outcomes.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS, or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Previous teaching experience within an educational setting.
- Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
- A current Enhanced DBS Certificate for Children's Workforce is essential.
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong classroom management and behaviour support skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work flexibly across agreed days Monday to Friday.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Desirable
- Experience working with pupils with SEMH, Autism, ADHD, and associated needs.
- Experience within a specialist or alternative provision setting.
- Knowledge of EHCPs and differentiated learning approaches.
- Experience teaching Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and post-16 learners.
- Experience teaching across multiple subjects.
