Permanent, full-time, Salary of £35,000- 40,000 per annum, 21 holiday +BH’s
MCR Concrete are seeking a persuasive, self-motivated, numerate transport planner who thrives working in a team in a fast-paced office environment to deliver great results.

Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
·Receive enquiries from prospective customers, understanding their exact requirements and selling them the best concrete solutions for their needs.
·Process customers’ orders, giving advice on all aspects of supplying concrete and working out concrete design mixes and quotes to complete the sale.
·Quickly and accurately book concrete orders and delivery slots on the schedule, both manually and on the IT system to ensure on time delivery of concrete to customers.
·Work closely with drivers, Accounts clerks and mechanics, to solve problems & make quick changes to jobs in response to any site problems or truck issues, cancellations and the addition of new jobs.
·Manage all post sale activity for customers.
·Occasionally visit sites to assess jobs and solutions to enable jobs to be specified and quoted for correctly. Field sales activity may increase over time.
Minimum qualifications:
Full driving license
Comprehensive use of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook
Person:
Well organised
Sales & Customer service experience, preferably in Construction
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Flexible & enthusiastic,
Knowledge of manchester area ideal
Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
