Chief People Officer
The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust (PAHT) provides a full range of general acute, outpatient and diagnostic services at The Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow, the Herts and Essex Hospital in Bishop’s Stortford and St Margaret’s Hospital in Epping. We employ 4,000 people and serve a local population of around 350,000 people living in west Essex and east Hertfordshire, centred on the M11 corridor and the towns of Harlow, Bishop’s Stortford and Epping. Our extended catchment area incorporates a population of up to 500,000 and includes the areas of Hoddesdon, Cheshunt and Broxbourne in Hertfordshire.
RISE is our new organisational strategy focusing on three key core strands; our Rising Hope and ambition for what we can achieve for our communities; our Rising Communities focusing on our work with local partners to redesign care; and our Rising Standards where we seek to deliver excellent care consistently. This strategy demonstrates our commitment to the transformation and improvement of our services, enabling us to deliver modern, integrated and outstanding care that keeps our growing and ageing population healthier. We have an amazing opportunity to drive change at pace using technological and clinical innovation alongside our plans to build a new hospital that is fit for purpose. As an anchor organisation in Harlow and beyond, we understand that our responsibility goes beyond hospital walls to support local jobs, skills, regeneration and wellbeing, and to tackle inequality headon.
We are looking for a strategic and dynamic leader in the role of Chief People Officer who will create the conditions for excellence, wellbeing and pride in the care we provide, every day. An individual who can bring fresh thinking, strong collaboration, and a clear vision to our people agenda. This is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on the future of our people, our organisation, and the communities we serve.
