Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our vibrant hospitality environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising front-of-house staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate front-of-house staff, including servers and hosts, to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Oversee food preparation and serving processes, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
- Assist with food production tasks as needed, supporting the kitchen team during busy periods.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all areas of operation.
- Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow to optimise customer satisfaction.
- Lead by example in delivering outstanding hospitality, demonstrating leadership and professionalism at all times.
- Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and courteously.
- Assist in training new staff members on service procedures, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving service efficiency and guest experience.
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
- Previous experience in restaurant service or hospitality roles such as serving or barista work is desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
- Sound understanding of food production processes and kitchen operations.
- Experience with hotel or bar operations is advantageous.
- Exceptional communication skills and a friendly demeanour suitable for guest interaction.
- A recognised qualification in hospitality or culinary arts is preferred but not essential. This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to advance their career within the hospitality industry while providing outstanding service to our guests.
Pay: £13.75-£17.50 per hour
