Business Score is an embedded business finance platform that allows software platforms, neobanks, marketplaces, and accountancy firms to offer funding to their customers through an API or widget. It connects businesses with 30+ lenders, offering up to £10m in funding. Business Score is a finance introducer, not a lender or FCA-accredited firm, so data accuracy, transparency, and security are key priorities.
About the Role:
This is an entry-level tech apprenticeship focused on customer support and troubleshooting. You’ll work with the operations and partner support team, helping customers and partners resolve issues with accounts, widgets, applications, open banking, and dashboards. You’ll solve simple issues, investigate technical problems, and escalate more complex cases to engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage support tickets, emails, live chat, and WhatsApp.
- Resolve basic account, access, and technical issues.
- Support partner onboarding and business funding applications.
- Carry out basic API, integration, and troubleshooting checks.
- Maintain CRM records, documentation, and reports.
- Handle customer data securely and follow GDPR and security procedures.
- Identify recurring issues and suggest improvements.
- Complete apprenticeship training and participate in team meetings.
What You’ll Learn:
You’ll complete a Level 3 Digital Support Technician apprenticeship, covering IT support, troubleshooting, customer service, data security, GDPR, digital systems, and continuous improvement. You’ll also gain practical experience with APIs, open banking, KYC, CRM systems, and fintech.

Entry requirements:
GCSE English and maths at grade 4/C or above, or grade 3/D with a commitment to complete Functional Skills Level 2 during the apprenticeship Aged 16 or over, with the right to work in England and three years' UK/EEA residency Not already holding a qualification at Level 3 or above in a substantially similar subject
Desirable: Customer service experience, familiarity with helpdesk/CRM tools, basic HTML or scripting, or an interest in fintech and business finance.
Pay: £800.00 per month
