We specialise in sourcing and importing a wide range of Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) vehicles, from iconic performance cars to specialist everyday vehicles, both to customer order and for our own carefully selected stock. Our personalised import service manages the entire customer journey, from understanding each customer's requirements and sourcing the perfect vehicle in Japan, through to UK compliance, registration and final handover. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Sales Progressor to join our friendly team and help us continue delivering exceptional service. This is a brand new role within the company. About the Role
This is a varied role that combines sales support with hands-on vehicle progression. You'll be the link between our sales team, workshop, body shop and customers, making sure every vehicle moves smoothly through preparation and reaches handover on time, in excellent condition, and with the customer kept fully informed at every step. Alongside a competitive base salary, this role offers a genuine opportunity to boost your earnings through our bonus structure, with commission tied to workshop, bodyshop, parts and detailing work as vehicles move through preparation. A full, valid UK driving licence is essential, as the role involves moving vehicles on-site and checking vehicles in.
Key Responsibilities
● Coordinate vehicle progress through the workshop, bodyshop and detailing, from arrival to sale-ready condition
● Check vehicles off transporters into stock, inspecting for and recording any damage
● Liaise closely with the service department, workshop, bodyshop and sales team to track and update vehicle status
● Keep customers regularly informed of progress throughout their vehicle's preparation
● Manage and maintain accurate documentation relating to vehicle progression, compliance and handover
● Order and track parts required for vehicle preparation
● Uphold high standards of vehicle presentation ahead of handover
● Use our software systems to log and track vehicle progress accurately
● Assist with administrative tasks relating to vehicle delivery and sale
● Carry out any other duties reasonably required to support the needs of the business About You The ideal candidate will have:
● Previous experience in a Vehicle Progressor or similar role within the motor industry (desirable)
● A genuine passion for cars and the automotive industry, particularly JDM and performance vehicles
● Excellent administration and organisational skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy
● Outstanding customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
● A professional and confident telephone manner
● Confidence using online systems and administration portals
● The ability to prioritise workload, handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a busy environment
● A positive, flexible and team-oriented approach
● A full, valid UK driving licence (essential) What We Offer
