JOB FUNCTION
Role: Kitchen Porter
Reports to: Head Chef
Contract: Part-time
Pay rate: £12.21 - £13.75 per hr
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
The Royal Burgess Golfing Society is steeped in history and can trace its origins back to the 18thcentury. Our magnificent Clubhouse is looking for a kitchen porter for the month of March.
We expect our Kitchen porter to work within a team to maintain our high standards throughout the kitchen keeping these areas clean and tidy.
Core Duties:
Washing dishes
Mopping
Emptying of Bins
Cleaning windows
Cleaning all ‘touch surfaces’ within the kitchen
Completing a deep clean of kitchen once a week on rotation
Cleaning behind units /furniture
7/8 hours per day/ includes a few split shifts
Part-time hours: 40 hrs per week maximum
Job Types: Part-time, Kitchen Porter Month March only
Salary: £12.71 -£13.75per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday on a Rota system
Experience:
- Kitchen Porter: 1 year (preferred)
