Duties
- Diagnose orthodontic conditions through comprehensive patient evaluations, including anatomy knowledge and medical imaging analysis
- Develop personalized treatment plans utilizing advanced CAD (Computer-Aided Design) tools for precise appliance fabrication
- Perform orthodontic procedures such as braces placement, adjustments, and removal with meticulous attention to detail
- Monitor patient progress regularly, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal results
- Educate patients on treatment options, oral health maintenance, and post-treatment care to foster understanding and compliance
- Collaborate closely with general dentists and specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate records of treatments, progress notes, and imaging data in compliance with regulatory standards
Skills
- Proficiency in CAD software for designing orthodontic appliances and aligners
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy relevant to orthodontic diagnosis and treatment planning
- Experience interpreting medical imaging such as X-rays, 3D scans, and other diagnostic tools
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex procedures clearly to patients of all ages
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with the latest orthodontic techniques and technologies
