Job Title: Mercedes-Benz Approved Used Vehicle Technician
Location: Head Office Prep Centre
Hours: 40 Hours (08.00 – 16.30 Mon-Fri) plus overtime on a Saturday mornings when required
We are looking to recruit an experienced motor vehicle technician to join our busy Vehicle Prep Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for the inspection and repair work of used vehicles to the highest of standards, in preparation for sale. You will also be responsible for the Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) of new vans.
Main Duties
- Prepare, inspect and repair used vehicles ready for sale again to the highest of standards
- MOT preparation
- Conduct PDI on new vans ensuring all vehicles are to the highest of standards in preparation for delivery
Essential Criteria
- Three years or more motor vehicle technician experience
- Fully qualified to level 3 or above
- Experience of preparing vehicles to MOT standard
- Full driving licence
- Ability to problem solve
- Customer focused
- Strong eye for detail
- Reliable and punctual
Desirable Criteria
- Previous Mercedes-Benz experience
- Previous PDI preparation experience
- Previous used vehicle preparation
