Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Apply paints, with precision and care.
- Use a variety of tools and equipment safely, including brushes, rollers, spray guns, and scaffolding.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and any issues encountered.
- Complete projects within designated timeframes while maintaining high standards of quality.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction painting decorating is vital. minimum 6 years
- Strong communication skills in English are essential for understanding instructions and liaising with clients.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to painting and decorating activities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or as part of a team on larger projects. This role offers an engaging environment for passionate decorators eager to develop their skills further while delivering exceptional results across our projects.
Pay: £17.00-£20.00 per hour
