Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Full Time Front of House Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest services, ensuring smooth operations at the front of house, and supporting the overall customer experience. Duties
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring clear communication between kitchen and service staff
- Assist in food preparation and meal presentation as needed, maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
- Serve food and beverages courteously, ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit
- Manage payment transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and waiting areas
- Uphold health and safety standards in accordance with food safety regulations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or food preparation is highly desirable
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, including basic cooking or meal preparation skills, is beneficial
- Customer service experience in hotels or bars (such as barista or serving roles) will be considered an asset
- Strong communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously are essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices is preferred
