Duties
- Perform comprehensive inspections and diagnostics on motorhome systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and chassis components
- Use hand tools and power tools to repair, replace, or upgrade mechanical parts and systems
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake adjustments, tire rotations, and fluid checks
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues accurately and efficiently to identify root causes
- Document all repairs and maintenance performed in detailed service reports
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service orders and customer satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, especially those unique to motorhomes or RVs
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and socket sets
- Experience with power tools for various repair tasks
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to follow technical manuals and repair instructions precisely
- Good communication skills to explain repairs clearly to customers and team members
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
