We are looking for a Head of Travel Operations who can lead our day-to-day travel service delivery, improve operational efficiency, and ensure every client experience is handled with professionalism and care.
This is a senior leadership role for someone who understands travel operations, supplier coordination, customer service, and team management. You will be responsible for overseeing travel planning workflows, improving service standards, supporting operational teams, and ensuring our business continues to grow in a structured and sustainable way.

Key Responsibilities: Travel Operations Leadership: Oversee daily travel operations, including bookings, itineraries, client requests, supplier coordination, and service delivery standards.
Team Management: Lead, support, and develop travel coordinators and operations staff. Set clear expectations, monitor performance, and encourage a professional service culture.
Supplier and Partner Coordination: Build and maintain strong relationships with hotels, transport providers, tour operators, and other travel service partners.
Process Improvement: Review current operational workflows and introduce practical improvements to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and improve client satisfaction.
Client Service Oversight: Ensure client concerns, escalations, and complex travel requirements are handled quickly, professionally, and with attention to detail.
Reporting and Performance Monitoring: Track key operational metrics, prepare reports for senior management, and identify areas for business improvement.
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure travel operations follow company procedures, relevant travel policies, data protection standards, and health and safety requirements.
What We Are Looking For: Experience: 6+ years of experience in travel operations, tourism management, hospitality operations, or a related service industry, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior supervisory role.
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of travel bookings, itinerary planning, supplier management, customer service standards, and operational coordination.
Leadership Skills: Confident in managing teams, setting priorities, resolving issues, and supporting staff development.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work professionally with clients, suppliers, staff, and senior stakeholders.
Problem Solving: Able to stay calm under pressure, handle last-minute changes, and find practical solutions when travel plans or client requirements change.
Organisation: Strong attention to detail, good time management, and the ability to oversee multiple operational priorities at the same time.
Mindset: You are service-focused, commercially aware, and practical. You understand that successful travel operations depend on planning, communication, and consistent follow-through.
Pay: £56,538.00-£90,000.00 per year
