Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Building Site Labourer to join our construction team. This role involves assisting with various tasks on-site to ensure smooth progress of building projects. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, eager to learn, and committed to maintaining a safe working environment. No prior experience is necessary, as full training will be provided. All positions are paid, including internships, and offer an excellent opportunity to develop skills within the construction industry.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment on-site
- Preparing work areas by clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Assisting tradespeople with their tasks as required
- Moving materials around the site using manual handling techniques or basic machinery
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency
- Following health and safety guidelines at all times to minimise risks
- Supporting the team in completing building tasks within specified deadlines
Experience
- No previous experience required; full training will be provided
- A good level of physical fitness to handle manual labour tasks
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Willingness to learn new skills and adhere to safety protocols
- Basic understanding of health and safety practices is advantageous but not essential
