Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Cleaning Staff to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and visitors. This is a 2 person job, with someone already working with us.
Duties
- Perform cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Ensure waste disposal is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and cleaning materials as needed
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents or contamination
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
- Use cleaning equipment and products safely and efficiently
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans when required
Qualifications
- Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial roles is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Good communication skills in English to understand instructions and interact professionally
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driving licence is preferred for roles requiring travel between sites
- Excellent customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with clients and visitors
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow health and safety guidelines effectively
