Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and vigilant Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring entrances, maintaining order, and providing excellent customer service. This role is vital in creating a safe environment while delivering a positive experience for all patrons. Duties
- Monitor and control access points to the premises, ensuring only authorised individuals enter.
- Enforce rules and regulations, maintaining order during events or busy periods.
- Assist with loss prevention by identifying suspicious behaviour and preventing theft or unauthorised access.
- Respond swiftly to incidents, providing first aid when necessary and liaising with emergency services if required.
- Maintain a visible presence to deter misconduct and ensure the safety of all visitors and staff.
- Record incidents accurately in logs or reports for future reference or investigation.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering queries politely whilst upholding security protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience in security, surveillance, or loss prevention roles is desirable.
- Valid first aid certification is preferred; willingness to undertake training if necessary.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations professionally.
- Strong observational skills with an eye for detail in surveillance activities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and respond promptly when required.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or special events as needed.
