About the Role:
We’re looking for a reliable and detail‑focused Warehouse Associate to join our team. You’ll help keep our warehouse running smoothly by receiving stock, managing inventory, and preparing orders. Additionally, you will support our technical and customer service operations, with opportunities to expand your skills into technical repairs and customer support through dedicated training.
Core Responsibilities:
Warehouse & Logistics
- Manage goods‑in and goods‑out processes, including stock control and inventory accuracy.
- Maintain warehouse organisation and workflow efficiency.
- Prepare each day’s deliveries and installations for the delivery team.
- Assist with periodic stock takes to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Handle audio/visual products safely and with care.
- Update stock and order information in our systems (e.g., Cin7 Core).
Technical Services (Initial Duties)
- Test and evaluate hi‑fi trade‑in equipment for functionality and condition.
- List trade‑in items for resale on eBay, including grading, pricing, and description accuracy.
- Process return‑to‑manufacture repairs, liaising with customers and service centres.
Technical Services (With Additional Training)
- Terminate speaker cables to manufacturer specification standards.
- Carry out minor repairs, including replacing faulty speaker drive units and associated soldering work.
Technical & Customer Support (With Additional Training)
- Provide remote technical support to the delivery team as needed.
- Provide technical support to customers over the phone.
- Conduct home visits to provide technical support and calibrate customer home cinema systems.
Health & Safety
- Act as a Company First Aider (training provided).
Requirements:
- Experience in warehouse or logistics roles.
- Good attention to detail.
- Comfortable handling fragile items.
- Able to follow processes and work accurately.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Physically able to lift and move goods safely.
- Interest in audio/visual technology and willingness to learn repair and calibration tasks.
Desired Experience:
- AV or electronics background.
- Experience using inventory systems (e.g., Cin7 Core).
- Knowledge of courier platforms and dispatch processes.
- Basic electronics knowledge (soldering, cable termination).
- Previous customer service or technical support experience.
- Familiarity with online marketplaces (e.g., eBay) is a plus.
