Overview
We are seeking for 2 skilled and motivated Dry Liners Fixers to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing drywall and related materials to create smooth, durable interior surfaces in various building projects. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of residential, commercial, and industrial structures, ensuring high standards of quality and safety. Duties
- Measure, cut, and install drywall panels accurately according to project specifications and schematics
- Secure drywall sheets using hand tools and power tools such as drills, screw guns, and saws
- Finish joints with plastering techniques to achieve seamless surfaces ready for painting or finishing
- Fabricate custom metal or wooden frameworks to support drywall installation where necessary
- Collaborate with other trades including roofing, plumbing, electrical, masonry, and carpentry teams to coordinate work effectively
- Repair or replace damaged drywall sections promptly to maintain project integrity
- Follow safety protocols diligently while handling tools like welding equipment, power tools, and hand tools
Qualifications
- Proven experience in drywall installation and finishing within the construction industry
- Knowledge of schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings for precise installation planning
- Familiarity with related trades such as roofing, plumbing, electrical work, masonry, and carpentry is a plus
- Skilled in using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and schematics accurately
- Experience with plastering, fabrication, construction painting, and masonry enhances versatility
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively across different trades
- Construction experience demonstrating reliability, attention to detail, and safety awareness
