Overall Responsibilities:
- To work on the Haematology Oncology Day Unit (HODU) &
Mobile Cancer Care Units (MCCU) supporting patients, and
their carers, who are receiving chemotherapy and supportive
treatments for haematology/oncology conditions
- The post is an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team which
contributes to the effective and economic use of available
resources.
- Responsibilities include involvement in the day-to-day
management and co-ordination of HODU.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain a high standard of nursing care for ill patients in
accordance with Airedale Hospital Trust’s guidelines and
protocols.
- Contribute towards the development of clinical practice by
participating in practice, and self- development programs on
the unit
