Fenris Creations is looking for an experienced IT Helpdesk Systems Administrator to join its global IT Operations team, based in our London studio.
As the only IT Operations team member based in London, your day-to-day colleagues will be the London studio team, whose IT needs you will help ensure are met, that their accounts, access, equipment and licenses are set up accurately and on time. Your team, however, is the globally distributed IT Operations team: you will work closely with them through shared processes, tools and communication channels to support Fenris Creations staff in other studios, and you will participate in maintaining and managing both local and global IT server and services infrastructure. Occasional travel to the Iceland office may be needed.

Provide general IT support to London studio staff and the office
- Source, assemble, set up and deliver end-user workstations and equipment (Windows, macOS)
- Support and maintain end-user desktops, laptops and other office IT equipment and resolve IT helpdesk issues for local and remote users
- Set up and maintain end-user accounts, access and licenses
- Manage London IT assets and inventory
- Participate in forward planning to ensure the London studio IT needs are identified and fulfilled
- Participate in maintenance, patching, monitoring, and control of local and global IT hardware and software systems and infrastructure (networking, servers, storage etc.)
- Take on other helpdesk and system administration related tasks and responsibilities as required

Experience and proficiency managing various end-user IT needs
- Knowledge and experience working with Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and Entra ID
- Knowledge and experience assembling, troubleshooting, and repairing desktop computers
- Knowledge of core networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, LDAP, SSO, VPN, HTTP etc.
- Scripting or programming language skills are beneficial, e.g. PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ruby
- Understanding of basic IT security concepts
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with local and distributed teams
- A service- and solutions-oriented mindset

- Relevant training/education in system administration such as Microsoft certifications
- Git/Perforce SCM knowledge/experience
- Experience using collaboration and ticketing tools like Jira and Confluence
