About the Role
Flexi Haulage is looking for an experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 ADR Tanker Driver to join our growing team based in Sandbach, Cheshire.
This is a full-time Monday to Friday tramping position, transporting hazardous goods throughout the UK. We are looking for a professional driver who takes pride in their work, operates safely and responsibly, and understands the importance of delivering a high-quality service to our customers.
The Role Includes
- Driving HGV Class 1 articulated tanker vehicles
- Transporting ADR hazardous goods safely and efficiently
- Monday to Friday tramping
- Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Completing all required delivery and transport documentation
- Following ADR, company and customer procedures
- Safe loading, unloading and discharge of tanker products
- Maintaining a high standard of vehicle cleanliness and presentation
- Providing excellent customer service at collection and delivery sites
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Full UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Valid ADR licence including Tanker
- Good knowledge of UK roads and transport regulations
- Previous tanker experience
- A strong safety-first attitude
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Reliable and professional approach to work
Desirable:
- Experience transporting chemical products
- Experience with pressure discharge/compressor-operated tankers
- Additional ADR classes
- Previous experience in specialist chemical haulage
