As a Chef/Kitchen Manager, you will…
- Prepare, cook, and present fresh food daily that meets specs and customer expectations, each and every time.
- Maintain hygiene levels and safety regulations in the kitchen to help guarantee the safety of your entire team and visitors.
- Communicate clearly with your team in order to provide high-quality meals to customers on time.
- Work along side the kitchen and front of house team, including motivating and inspiring others, whilst keeping up to date with hygiene standards, and administrative tasks.
- Be creative to innovate new dishes, be creative for ‘specials’, presentations and keep up to date with new products, menus, and promotions, especially within the food industry.
- Maintenance of all walk in coolers, storage areas and monitor daily food production.
- Willingness to get stuck in, learn new skills and help out in different areas when needed.
Do you have:
Qualifications: Relevant industry qualifications. Minimum Level 2 Food Safety, allergen training.
Experience: A proven track record as a Chef working with fresh food.
Skills: Excellent cooking skills, leadership skills, ability to work under pressure, strong knowledge of operational procedures within the food industry.
Communication: Excellent relationship-building and communication skills to liaise effectively with the rest of the team and customers.
Passion: A genuine passion for food quality, service excellence, and operational efficiency.
Flexibility: Willingness to be flexible for holiday cover and opening/closing if required.

Baristro is a new contemporary coffee Bar and Bistro with a warm welcome, friendly atmosphere, whilst serving speciality coffees, organic teas, freshly cooked breakfast, brunch, lunch sand selectibe evenings.
We can sit 30people inside and more outside in our dog friendly garden.
