Role Overview
We are looking for a reliable, physically fit, and hardworking General Warehouse Operative to join our team. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where accuracy, efficiency, and the ability to pick orders at speed are essential. You will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are processed and dispatched on time while maintaining high standards throughout the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking customer orders accurately and efficiently from stock
- Picking orders at speed while maintaining excellent attention to detail
- Packing snacks securely to ensure safe delivery
- Stocking shelves and organising inventory
- Receiving, checking, and unloading deliveries
- Inspecting products for quality and reporting any issues
- Assisting with stock takes and inventory control
- Working at height using appropriate equipment to access and replenish stock stored on warehouse racking
- Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy, and safe at all times
- Following all company health and safety procedures
Requirements
- Physically fit and capable of lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods
- Comfortable working at height and using steps, ladders, or other approved warehouse access equipment safely
- Able to work accurately in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality
- Hardworking, motivated, and willing to take initiative
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Ability to pick and pack orders efficiently while maintaining accuracy
- Positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team
Working Hours
- 24 hours per week
- Monday to Thursday
- 7:30am – 1:30pm (6 hours per day)
- Flexibility required to provide additional cover for holidays and sickness when needed
