Role Definition:
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive individual to join our Engineering team, working closely alongside the Engineering Manager to support this critical function of the business.
This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth running of engineering operations through effective stock control, supplier coordination, maintenance system management, and administration. It offers an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys taking ownership of processes.

The role involves:
To take ownership of ordering parts and managing the control of stock, with an understanding of the Purchase Order system
Working closely with key suppliers to minimise lead times and to maintain stock availability
Managing the Pirana CMMS including housekeeping and work scheduling
Report collation, as and when required to include overtime, utilities usage etc
To assist with producing Planned Preventative Maintenance Schedules
General administration duties including ensuring that all documentation is audit ready

Skills & Experience
Essential

Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a team

Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workload

Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office 365 (email, Excel, Word, etc.)

Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Desirable

Experience in a stores, stock control, or inventory management role

Previous experience with purchasing and cost control processes

Familiarity with CMMS systems (e.g., Pirana or similar)
