Overview
Austen Court is seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses to join our healthcare team. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated nursing professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of residents.
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in supporting the health, wellbeing, and comfort of residents by delivering safe and effective nursing care in line with professional standards and best practice guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out comprehensive assessments of residents’ health needs and wellbeing
- Develop, implement, and review person-centred care plans in collaboration with the wider healthcare team
- Safely administer medications in accordance with clinical protocols and regulations
- Deliver high-quality nursing care, including monitoring observations and responding promptly to changes in residents’ conditions
- Provide support, guidance, and education to residents and their families regarding health management and wellbeing
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in line with legal and professional requirements
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and holistic care
- Follow infection prevention and control procedures to maintain a safe environment for residents and staff
- Uphold the highest standards of nursing practice, dignity, and resident care at all times
Experience & Requirements
- Valid nursing qualification with current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse
- Previous experience in medication administration and patient care is essential
- Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of nursing best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with residents and families
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Commitment to continuous professional development and high standards of care
- Knowledge of human anatomy and clinical care practices is desirable
Shift Patterns & Hours
- Day Shifts: 8:00am – 8:00pm
- Night Shifts: 8:00pm – 8:00am
- Weekend availability is required
- 22-hour and 33-hour contracts available
