Forward Glass is looking for an Experienced Glass Processor / CNC Operator to join our busy and growing production team.
- Birmingham B32 3BT
- Monday-Friday 2-week rolling shift rota (Monday to Friday):
Week 1: 6:00am - 2:30pm
Week 2: 2:30pm - 11:00pm
- Permanent, full-time: 40 hours per week
Working as part of an experienced and successful team, the role will involve:
- Operating CNC glass processing machinery
- Setting up and monitoring CNC programmes to ensure accurate production
- Glass cutting, shaping, edging, and processing
- Reading and interpreting production specifications and technical drawings
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
- Assisting with general production duties as required
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures

The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience operating CNC machinery within the glass industry is essential
- Strong understanding of glass processing techniques and quality standards
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Flexible approach to work and willingness to support the wider production team
