Edge Transport are looking to recruit a Van Driver to join our busy local haulage team.
This is a full-time position with 45 contracted hours per week. Hours are managed over a reference period, with any additional hours paid at the standard rate.
You will be driving one of our well-maintained fleet vehicles, all of which are under five years old.

Key responsibilities:
- Completing routine vehicle, loading, and safety checks
- Delivering to commercial and residential addresses as required
- Representing Edge Transport professionally and operating safely at all times
- Meeting fuel efficiency targets and planned route timescales
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, both on the road and within the warehouse
- Ensuring the allocated vehicle is kept clean and presentable
- Ensuring food product quality, safety, and legal compliance
- Reporting any damage, defects, near misses, or non-conformances
- Completing all necessary documentation accurately and within required timescales
- Complying with all road traffic laws
Successful candidates will be required to complete a DBS check as part of the recruitment process.
