Dalen Ltd is looking for a Space Planner to join our experienced design team, working across our three established brands: TOP-TEC, Dalen Designs, and Dalen Healthcare. Your Role
This is a rare and exciting role for a talented design professional with strong Design and Visualisation skills to join a forward thinking company, with the potential to develop their career.

As a Space Planner, you will primarily be responsible for the customisation of room plans to meet client briefs, and the creation of various production and customer facing documentation. You will also be responsible for delivering Revit and BIM compatible assets for use by architectural customers within their own room plans.
Working with the Dalen suite of products that is supplemented with a range of partner companies’ furniture, you will be balancing aesthetics with functionality and production capabilities. With our on-site production facility, you will be able to see your work progress from design, through manufacturing, and all the way to delivery of the finished product.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Experience of using Design Software, particularly pCon Planner. Experience with SolidWorks is a bonus.
- A professional qualification in a related field.
- A good understanding of room planning principles
- The ability to create clear and unambiguous technical drawings for suppliers and production staff to easily understand
Industry specific experience working with the types of products Dalen manufacture, such as desking, audio-visual furniture or lecterns would be beneficial to your application. Some experience of balancing multiple projects against demanding deadlines would also be an advantage.
Pay: £35,000.00 per year
