We are looking for an experienced nursery manager to lead our 67 Place Nursery in Purley!
Purley Children's Nursery is a leading childcare provider in Purley, we offer year-round care for children aged 0 to 5 in our nurturing environment.
We are open full-time from 7:30am–6:30pm with a fantastic, large outdoor space that is packed full of features specially designed to nurture children’s imaginations. Our children also enjoy regular trips and outings.
The Role:
As Nursery Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the nursery, leading a dedicated team to deliver high-quality care and early years education in line with the EYFS framework. You'll be instrumental in maintaining our excellent reputation and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all operational aspects of the nursery
- Lead, motivate, and support a team of Early Years Practitioners
- Ensure the nursery meets Ofsted standards and follows EYFS requirements
- Develop strong relationships with children, parents, carers, and staff
- Manage budgets, staff rotas, and occupancy levels
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and enriching environment for all children
About You:
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or above)
- At least 2 years of leadership experience in an early years setting
- Sound knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures
- Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
- A genuine passion for early years education and making a difference
