Phoenix Care Staff is looking for compassionate, reliable and dedicated Health Care Assistants to join our team in Preston.
About the Role
As a Health Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals, helping them maintain their dignity, independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing personal care and support to service users.
- Assisting with washing, dressing, mobility and other daily activities.
- Supporting service users with meals and general wellbeing.
- Monitoring and reporting any changes in health or behaviour.
- Following individual care plans and maintaining accurate records.
- Promoting dignity, independence and choice at all times.
- Working effectively with colleagues and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months’ paid care experience in the UK is essential.
- Previous experience as a Health Care Assistant, Support Worker or in a similar care role.
- A caring, compassionate and professional approach.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and flexible attitude to work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred.
- Right to work in the UK.
