We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day running of the warehouse, including moving stock, preparing orders and maintaining a safe, organised working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading deliveries.
- Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch.
- Moving and storing stock safely and accurately.
- Operating counterbalance, reach and Aisle-Master forklift trucks.
- Carrying out stock checks and reporting any discrepancies.
- Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy, and compliant with health and safety procedures.
- Completing general warehouse duties as required.
Requirements
- A valid driving licence is essential.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
- Experience operating a counterbalance forklift is required.
- Reach truck and Aisle-Master experience would be beneficial but is not essential, as training will be provided.
- A valid forklift licence or relevant certification is desirable.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to work safely.
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Physically able to carry out general warehouse duties.
