At Panaz, we’re looking for an ambitious Quality & Compliance professional to join our Technical team at our Burnley headquarters.
Role Overview
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career - whether you already have management experience or you’re ready to progress from a Quality, Compliance or Technical role into a position with greater responsibility and influence.
You’ll join a long-established Lancashire manufacturer with a global reputation for innovation, technical expertise and high-performance contract textiles supplied worldwide across hospitality, healthcare and commercial interiors.
Working closely with our Head of Technical, you’ll gain broad exposure across quality assurance, product compliance, environmental systems, supplier quality, technical investigation and continuous improvement.

This role is fully onsite due to the collaborative and product-focused nature of the position.
About the Role
This is a varied, hands-on role combining quality assurance, technical problem solving, product compliance and continuous improvement.
You’ll play an important part in helping Panaz maintain and develop high standards across our products and processes, while also supporting future regulatory and environmental requirements.
The role offers real ownership and the opportunity to become a key technical and compliance specialist within the business.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting and developing our ISO management systems, with a strong focus on ISO 9001 and involvement in ISO 14001
Taking ownership of quality and compliance processes, helping drive continuous improvement across the business
Supporting product compliance, textile testing and flame retardancy requirements for UK and international markets
Monitoring current and emerging regulations and advising on future compliance needs
Leading supplier quality activities, audits and corrective actions
Investigating product and quality issues using strong technical and problem-solving skills
Working closely with suppliers, internal departments and external test houses
Helping ensure products continue to meet the high standards expected of the Panaz brand
Who This Role Would Suit

A Quality Coordinator or Compliance professional looking for the next step
Someone with ISO 9001 or ISO 14001 experience wanting broader responsibility
A Technical, QA or manufacturing professional interested in developing leadership skills
Someone who enjoys understanding how products are made, tested and improved
A practical, detail-focused person who enjoys solving problems and improving processes
Textile experience would be beneficial, but it’s not essential. We’re open to candidates from other quality-led manufacturing or technical industries who can bring transferable skills and a willingness to learn.
What We’re Looking For
Experience within quality, compliance, manufacturing or technical products
Working knowledge of ISO systems, particularly ISO 9001 and/or ISO 14001
Confidence communicating with suppliers and colleagues across different departments
A proactive, organised and detail-focused approach
Strong problem-solving skills and commercial awareness
Motivation to grow and develop within a management-focused role
