Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. Duties
- Installing, inspecting, and repairing electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with technical specifications and safety regulations.
- Diagnosing electrical issues using specialised tools and implementing effective solutions promptly.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to execute electrical installations accurately.
- Conducting routine maintenance checks on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Collaborating with other tradespeople and project managers to coordinate work schedules and meet project deadlines.
- Ensuring all work complies with relevant health and safety legislation, including risk assessments and method statements.
- Maintaining detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections carried out.
Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and multimeters.
- Experience operating power tools including drills, saws, and cable cutters safely and effectively.
- Solid electrical experience with a thorough understanding of wiring regulations, circuit design, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read technical diagrams and interpret electrical schematics accurately.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail to identify issues swiftly.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently whilst adhering to safety standards.
- Good communication skills for liaising with team members and clients professionally.
