Elementa Support Services is working in partnership with secondary schools to recruit passionate and skilled Teachers of English. This is an exciting opportunity for dedicated educators who are committed to inspiring students through literature, language, and communication, and who want to make a meaningful impact in the classroom.
As a Teacher of English, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality English lessons that engage, challenge, and support learners of varying abilities. You will play a key role in developing students’ reading, writing, and critical thinking skills while fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the national curriculum
Teach across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
Assess, track, and report on student progress
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners
Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
Work collaboratively with colleagues and school leadership
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching English in UK secondary schools
Enhanced DBS Disclosure (or willingness to apply – cost £64.20 unless subscribed to the Update Service)
Education Workforce Council (EWC) registration in the appropriate categories
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English education
