Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks in a commercial setting, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces
- Maintain restrooms by restocking supplies, disinfecting fixtures, and ensuring hygiene standards are met
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Use cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and pressure washers safely and effectively
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistent quality across all assigned areas
- Respond promptly to urgent cleaning requests or spillages to prevent safety hazards
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning duties are completed efficiently and thoroughly
Cover Cleaner required for staff sickness and annual leaves only -Monday to Friday 5.20am to 8.20am
Qualifications
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during shifts
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Knowledge of health and safety guidelines related to cleaning practices is a plus
