We are currently recruiting for a Quality Engineer to join an established electronics manufacturing business based in Crawley.
This is a hands-on quality role within a manufacturing environment, working closely with production and engineering teams to maintain and improve quality standards across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate quality issues, defects and non-conformances.
- Carry out root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Support internal quality audits and continuous improvement activities.
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
- Maintain quality documentation and inspection records.
- Monitor and improve manufacturing processes and quality standards.
- Support customer and supplier quality requirements.
About You
- Previous experience working as a Quality Engineer within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
- Good understanding of quality systems and manufacturing processes.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
- Experience within electronics, PCB or electrical manufacturing would be highly advantageous.

- Assist in the validation of new processes or equipment to guarantee they meet quality requirements before full implementation
Experience
- Proven experience in a quality assurance or quality engineering role within manufacturing or food production environments
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend actionable improvements
- Familiarity with HACCP principles and implementation is highly desirable
- Excellent attention to detail combined with effective problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams and convey complex information clearly
- Prior experience conducting audits, inspections, or process validations is preferred
- Knowledge of industry regulations and standards related to product safety and quality assurance
