Vehicle Technician / Mechanic – Full Time

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Vehicle Technician to join our team at a well-respected, forward-thinking independent workshop in Poole.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a professional, well-equipped garage where quality workmanship and customer service are at the heart of everything we do. You will be working on a wide range of vehicles, including all makes and models of cars and light commercial vehicles (LCVs).
The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, your main responsibilities will include:
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and general repairs
- Working on a variety of makes and models
- Identifying faults and providing effective solutions
- Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and professional working environment
Diagnostic and electrical experience would be an advantage, but full training and support can be considered for the right candidate.
About You
The ideal candidate will be:
- An experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic
- Reliable, enthusiastic, and self-motivated
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- A strong team player with a positive attitude
- Committed to delivering high-quality workmanship
- In possession of a full UK driving licence
- Qualified to a relevant standard (although experienced applicants will also be considered)
- Equipped with their own tools
