Ideally you will have:
City & Guilds 7061/2 and/or NVQ Level 3
- 2 years’ experience as a Sous with branded experience.
It is essential that you maintain a 'hands on approach' and create a culture of Inspiration both internally and externally.
As sous chef you will work closely with the Head Chef and must be willing to support junior members of the kitchen team. Understanding a kitchen environment and flexibility is essential.
You must be a team player as well as a leader on shift ensuring the brigade work together to ensure the day to day operation is a success. Responsibilities will include supporting and assisting the Head Chef in ensuring that every opportunity to maximize profit and cost margins are met in line with budget, whilst ensuring Food Safety and Hygiene standards are maintained at all times.
