About the Role
We're seeking an organised, proactive and customer-focused Property Manager to join our residential property management team.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring landlords and tenants receive an exceptional level of service while maintaining compliance with current legislation and industry best practice.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities and the confidence to manage maintenance issues, tenancy matters and landlord relationships from start to finish.
Your Responsibilities
As a Property Manager, you will:
- Manage a portfolio of residential rental properties.
- Act as the main point of contact for landlords and tenants throughout the tenancy.
- Coordinate maintenance works with approved contractors from initial report through to completion.
- Arrange routine property inspections and prepare detailed inspection reports.
- Ensure landlords are kept fully informed of any maintenance or tenancy issues.
- Resolve tenant queries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Liaise with contractors to obtain quotations and monitor the quality of completed works.
Compliance & Property Management
You'll also be responsible for ensuring properties remain legally compliant by:
- Monitoring Gas Safety Certificates, EICRs, EPCs, Smoke Alarm requirements and other statutory obligations.
- Maintaining accurate property records and management systems.
- Ensuring all compliance documentation is completed within required timescales.
- Keeping up to date with changes in residential property legislation and company procedures.
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure properties are managed efficiently and professionally.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in residential property management.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- The ability to prioritise workloads in a fast-paced environment.
- Confidence when dealing with landlords, tenants and contractors.
- A practical approach to resolving maintenance issues.
- High attention to detail and strong administrative skills.
- Experience using property management software or CRM systems.
- ARLA qualification desirable but not essential.
Essential Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Use of your own vehicle for property inspections and appointments.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 9:00am – 5:30pm
- Alternate Saturdays: 10:00am – 1:00pm

Pay: £25,520.00-£30,000.00 per year
