Overview
Berthon Lymington Marina prides itself on maintaining some of the finest washroom facilities in the Solent. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to help keep our marina facilities spotless and welcoming for customers, visitors, and staff.
The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining our washroom facilities and communal areas to the highest standards, ensuring they remain clean, hygienic, and well-presented.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise washrooms, and communal areas to meet health and safety standards.
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling procedures are followed.
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, and cleaning products as needed.
- Maintain cleaning equipment in good working order and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during cleaning activities.
- Ensure all areas are kept tidy and presentable in accordance with client specifications.
- Communicate with clients to provide high levels of customer service
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning work is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to provide high standards of cleanliness.
- Good time management skills to complete tasks within allocated shifts.
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities.
- Motivated and able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties, including lifting and standing for extended periods. This role is ideal for motivated individuals looking to contribute to maintaining high standards of cleanliness in busy environments while enjoying flexible part-time hours.

Hours
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shifts
- Start time: 06:00 - 10:00
- Winter season start times can be adjusted by agreement
- 20 hours per week
