Installation Coordinator

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Installation Coordinator to manage and oversee the successful delivery of renewable energy and heating installations, including Solar PV, Air Source Heat Pumps, Boilers, and Insulation measures. Working closely with the Sales and Operations teams, the Installation Coordinator will ensure projects are planned efficiently, installation packs are prepared accurately, and installations are completed safely, to the highest quality standards, and with an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the end-to-end installation process for Solar PV, ASHP, Boiler, and Insulation projects.
- Work closely with the Sales team to ensure a smooth handover from sale to installation.
- Schedule installation dates and allocate resources to maximise efficiency.
- Liaise with customers throughout the installation process, providing updates and managing expectations.
Installation Planning and Documentation
- Prepare comprehensive job packs containing all relevant technical information, designs, survey data, permits, and customer requirements.
- Ensure installation teams and subcontractors receive accurate job information in advance of works commencing.
- Maintain accurate records and update internal systems throughout the project lifecycle.
Installer Support and Site Monitoring
- Provide ongoing support to installation teams throughout projects.
- Monitor installer performance and maintain regular communication with site teams.
- Conduct site visits where required to ensure works are progressing as planned.
- Promote excellent customer service and ensure customers receive a positive experience throughout the installation process.
Quality Control and Compliance
- Monitor installation quality and ensure all works are completed in accordance with company standards and industry regulations.
- Ensure all projects comply with health and safety requirements and company procedures.
- Identify and resolve issues affecting quality, customer satisfaction, or project delivery.
- Work closely with installers and management to implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Support post-installation quality assurance processes and ensure any remedial works are addressed promptly.
Customer Experience
- Act as a key point of contact for customers before, during, and after installation.
- Proactively address customer concerns and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Ensure installations are completed with minimal disruption and in accordance with agreed timescales.
Continuous Improvement
- Work collaboratively with Sales, Design, Operations, and Installation teams to improve processes and enhance efficiency.
- Contribute to maintaining industry accreditations and compliance standards.
- Promote a culture of quality, professionalism, and safety across all installation activities.
Skills and ExperienceEssential
- Previous experience in an installation coordination, project coordination, or operations role.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Proficiency CRM or scheduling software.
Desirable
- Experience within the renewable energy, heating, or construction sectors.
- Knowledge of Solar PV, Air Source Heat Pumps, Boiler systems, and Insulation measures.
- Understanding of MCS, PAS 2030/2035, TrustMark, and relevant health and safety requirements.
- Experience working with subcontractors and field-based installation teams.

Pay: £27,000.00 per year
