Forming a cruicial part of the new Complex Lives Partnership, the dedicated Mental Health and Homelessness Support Worker will provide specialist support to individuals experiencing homelessness or housing instability who have mental health needs. The role focuses on early intervention, crisis prevention, and enabling access to appropriate housing, health, and social care services.
The postholder will work closely with Housing Needs, Mental Health Services, and partner agencies to deliver trauma-informed, person-centred support to the borough most complex residents and high intensity users of services.
The aim of this role is to work collaboratively with the partnership and other sevrices to support people experiencing poor mental health or on their recovery journey to acess and sustain accommodation, promoting strengh-based working, independance and resilience.
