As a Catering Assistant, you’ll support the kitchen and front-of-house team in preparing, serving, and cleaning up wholesome meals in a high-energy camp and retreat setting. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in hospitality while working in beautiful, rustic environments with a passionate crew.
Camp Wildfire is a unique adventure camp for adults set in the beautiful pine forests of Sevenoaks, Kent. Blending the thrill of outdoor adventure with the energy of a festival, Camp Wildfire offers a weekend filled with over 100 activities—ranging from wild crafts and woodland skills to live music, parties, and wellness experiences. It's a playful, nature-filled escape where community, creativity, and connection come alive.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist chefs with food preparation and plating
- Set up and serve buffet-style or plated meals
- Keep kitchen and service areas clean and organized
- Wash dishes and manage general kitchen duties
- Ensure dietary requirements are respected and labeled
- Follow all food safety and hygiene standards
- Help with setup and pack down of kitchen spaces
- Provide friendly, helpful service to guests and staff
Qualifications & Skills
- Hospitality or kitchen experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to take direction and work independently when needed
- Comfortable working in outdoor/rural or camp-style environments
- Positive attitude and a willingness to pitch in wherever needed
Bonus
- Food Handling Certificate (valid in your state)
- First Aid Certification
- Experience working at camps, festivals, or retreats
- Barista or coffee experience

Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour
