Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CAD Draughtsperson to join our team. We are a industrial roofing and cladding company. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings that support our construction and design projects. Your expertise in CAD software and cladding construction experience will be essential in translating conceptual designs into detailed schematics, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications. Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 2D drawings using AutoCAD software.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret design concepts and produce accurate schematics.
- Prepare construction documentation, including plans, sections, elevations, and detailed drawings for various phases of projects.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback, ensuring all designs meet industry standards and client requirements.
- Assist in coordinating design information across multiple disciplines .
- Maintain organized CAD files and documentation for easy retrieval and version control.
- Support site visits by providing technical drawings that facilitate construction activities and ensure adherence to design specifications.
Skills
- Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of schematics development and technical drawing standards.
- Construction experience with knowledge of building processes and project workflows.
- Ability to interpret architectural and engineering plans accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with industry codes, regulations, and best practices related to drafting and design.

Pay: £25,420.00-£45,772.30 per year
