About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive and commercially minded Customer Development Specialist to help grow our customer base across the UK and Ireland. This is a desk-based sales role focused on outbound calling, account development and opportunity creation across professional kitchen, refrigeration and domestic appliance markets.
You’ll work with existing customers, lapsed accounts and new prospects to increase order volume, basket size and customer engagement. You’ll also position REPA as a trusted supplier by understanding customer needs, promoting relevant product ranges and identifying opportunities to add value.
What You’ll Be Doing
· Making regular outbound calls to existing customers to identify growth opportunities and strengthen relationships
· Prospecting and engaging new customers, including wholesalers, resellers and service companies
· Reactivating lapsed or low-frequency accounts and developing them into active customers
· Identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities across multiple product categories
· Building relationships with buyers and key decision-makers across different market verticals
· Using customer trends, order patterns and activity data to spot opportunities and risks
· Promoting campaigns, new product launches and supplier initiatives
· Working closely with external sales, marketing, product and supplier teams
· Supporting selected customer meetings or joint visits where this adds value
What You’ll Bring
· Experience in telesales, internal sales, account management or business development
· Confidence making outbound sales calls and building rapport quickly
· A proactive, target-driven approach and a strong commercial mindset
· Strong relationship-building, influencing and communication skills
· Good organisation and the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities
· Comfort using IT systems and customer data to guide activity
· B2B experience with wholesalers, resellers or trade customers would be highly beneficial
· Knowledge of catering, refrigeration, HVAC, technical spares or engineering environments would be advantageous

Occasional customer visits may be required
Working pattern; 8.30 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday (1 hour lunch) 37.5hrs per week
Basic salary plus up to £5,000 bonus opportunity
