Spiral Balanced Sash Window Repair Technician
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Spiral Balanced Sash Window Technician to join our team. The role involves the repair, maintenance, and refurbishment of traditional and modern sash windows fitted with spiral balance systems.
Key Responsibilities
Repair spiral balanced sash windows in residential and commercial properties.
Replace spiral balances, cords, pulleys, locks, and other window components.
Diagnose faults including sticking sashes, draughts, broken balances, and alignment issues.
Measure, cut, and fit timber sash window parts accurately.
Carry out glazing, sealing, and finishing work to a high standard.
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean working environment.
Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
Requirements
Experience working with sash windows and spiral balance systems.
Experience in repair care resin
Experience cutting timber beads with mitre saw
Good carpentry or window fitting skills.
Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
Experience with timber restoration or heritage window repairs.
Knowledge of double glazing and draught-proofing.
